Happy Eid el Kabir

Happy Holidays.....

I'm sure that's something all Nigerians like to hear (even the ones that wouldn't have gone to school or work otherwise). Guess how many public holidays we have in 2018 (I googled it).....TWENTY-NINE (29).  When we add weekends to that, we have over 25% of the year to sit at home and enjoy.  And later, they'll say we're lazy Nigerian youths.

I came out of my compound this morning and saw a long line of vehicles in front of the beer parlor/ peppersoup joint. What do you expect when it has been raining for hours, and everybody's looking for sallah ram? I quickly posted one "dagbo" picture of slaughtered ram (that I munched from Magnito's timeline), and everybody's asking for location. LOL....social media and long throat.

Well, this blog has been getting very interesting to write these days...I just share my thoughts with all those of you who even bother to click on the link. Thanks for reading. I just checked earlier, and I realised I had contributed THIRTY (30) articles to this blog. Who can sincerely say, "I have read all of them"? Well, I have...and I think I know my favourite. What's your's?

I was wondering a couple hours ago, is August break a myth? We used to hear that it didn't rain in August, and we're always reluctant to let the month go but this time we can't wait to see the THIRTY-FIRST (31). Two things of great significance happen on that day. We celebrate the birthday of a friend and member of the CVENT family, DJ Brooke (the international Queen of Afrobeats).... and it's the day I've personally been waiting for, for months now. PROOF opens.

I hope you made good plans for the holidays, and have a wonderful day. Cheers🍷
