Enigma....a person or thing, that is mysterious or difficult to understand.
So what is it, when people say you have an "enigmatic" personality? Put simply,it would mean that you're different...& typically, difficult to understand. In my thinking though, how can a person fully understand another without an in-depth analysis into his/her thought process? You might question his/her decisions, without paying attention to the factors that led him/her to such decisions in the first place.

Jose Mourinho |
Yeah, I know I already wrote something this morning but immediately after, I was reading my sport stories (I happen to be addicted to the Daily Mail sports app) and something jumped right at me. Jose Mourinho and his surly mood. People love to write stories about the Manchester United manager. Every press conference is dissected in bits, and analysed for days (until they actually get something newsworthy to print) but I personally don't agree with most of what is written about the man. I find him to be quite candid...& from experience, most people don't want to hear the truth. If you're not following,I would give you a summary of the events from the last few days/weeks.

The World Cup ended a couple of weeks ago,and players who got into the latter stages are yet to resume for training. As a result, the pre-season tour has been going on with a core of youth players and players not expected to feature in the first team plans for the new season. The Manchester United manager, before the tour began tried to explain that he was working under these conditions and as a result didn't expect the team to do well. Matter of fact, he said "expect the team to lose, sometimes with a big margin" because this is not the squad I intend to work with, and their performance is not a true reflection of where we intend to be. He got a lot of stick for those comments. Why is he giving excuses? You didn't really take out time to realise that, about SEVEN players from his preferred first ELEVEN are absent from the tour. When you're working with 25% efficiency at best, how do you produce your optimum?

After losing 4-1 to his great rivals Liverfool FC in Michigan on Saturday, a reporter asked about his thoughts on the record breaking crowd in attendance (over 100,000 fans attended the game) and once again his reply was off the chain. Mourinho says he feels sorry for the fans, because the performance of the team wasn't good enough (to warrant the ticket prices) & quite frankly,if he was a paying fan he wouldn't bother to come watch the game. All hell broke loose, and everyone was quick to throw him under the bus for that statement....but think about this. With Matic returning to England with an abdominal strain, Valencia also leaving the tour injured and Martial going to witness the birth of his baby, MUFC were on tour without SEVENTEEN (17) of their first team squad. For good measure, the match officials actually came from the "Baseball" league. Is that a football game worth having 100,000+ spectators. In my opinion,NO. I wouldn't pay money to watch such a threadbare United team (I don't think Arsenal fans can relate though, they're used to paying over the top for mediocre performances) and I appreciate the manager's words. It might sound crazy but he's right.

One of my favourite bands is Maroon 5, and I would happily pay $100 to go attend a Maroon 5 concert. Now picture a performance without Adam Levine (he's the lead, or only, singer in the group). That would be nothing short of a rip-off, and certainly not worth the spectators money....just don't listen to Mourinho say so😉.
I'm off again....one of the perks working from home,is all the free time on your hands to plan parties, write blogs and generally just stay in bed for as long as you like. I'm thinking about granting more access to #TheMansion soon. Let's continue to live in peace and love...& I would see you soon.
Ciao
